About the role:

They are looking to on-board a Community Engagement Manager for SAWO and the location is open to Bangalore Mumbai and Delhi.

If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, they would like to meet you. The ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with the community.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key community leaders across the globe [specifically in India] to be strategic partners and onboard them into our programs.
  • Set and implement community engagement campaigns to align with marketing and media strategies.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics to develop and execute against partnership goals. 
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features.
  • Build relationships with tech influencers, academic and cultural communities, STEM communities, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
  • Liaise amongst communities to create and nurture relationships for SAWO Labs.

Does this sound like you? 

Must have:

  • 4 to 8 years work experience working with community engagement - online/offline marketing, engagement, networking and relationship building with developers.
  • Past experience working with a start-up and a growing company. 
  • Past experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series or writing an email, newsletter).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify, track and interpret online and offline engagement metrics .

Preferred: 

  • Past experience working with B2B or Tech or SAAS products. 
  • Past experience growing and managing a team from scratch.
