 Duties & responsibilities  

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions).
• Support capital raising activities by developing project budgets, financial analysis, and reports on company performance.
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, profitability, liquidity, working capital efficiency, and credit risk to derive insights for performance improvement.
• Develop cash flow and profitability forecasts that will guide company operations and strategy development.
• Build company-wide budgets and conduct quarterly reviews with the management team.
• Monitor overall financial health and the quality of the credit portfolio and support risk management operations to help maintain company liquidity.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports to update senior management on company financial performance and credit portfolio quality.
• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
• Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests.
• Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/CFA a plus
• 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
