About the Role

BURN is looking for a Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Consultant who will assist in reviewing, improving, and formalizing the existing SOPs. The consultant will be responsible for executing activities related to procedural document development including any relevant training materials that support the SOP documents. This is a short-term 6 months contractual engagement.

 

Terms of Reference

  • Review of current SOP documents for understanding and assessing needs for additional SOPs based on understanding
  • Interview/discussions with department managers to understand the operating environment and existing SOPs
  • Update and refine any of the existing SOPs identified
  • Develop an SOP handbook that formalizes the SOPs and workflows in each department and/or operating market
  • Develop training materials as needed to instruct employees on SOPs
  • Develop and maintain a project management tracker that summarizes progress in each department/workstream that is regularly reported to management
  • Develop checklists and/or templates that improve the efficiency of processes as identified


Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in audit or relevant field developing SOPs
  • Must have written and developed SOPs
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred
  • Good communication and project management skills
