Job description

About the role:

BURN is looking for a junior CNC Laser Engineer who will work closely with the laser team in operating and ensuring that all laser-related equipment is functioning well.

  Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring lasers are well maintained and operational.
  • Help in developing different CAD drawings for production tests and TPDs
  • Help in optimizing the production laser CAD files
  • Responsible for installation and commissioning of CNC machines
  • Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
  • Plan and oversee all repair and maintenance activities
  • Training laser operators and technicians.
  • Keep maintenance and production logs and report on daily activities
  • Ensure health and safety policies comply with industry standards
  • Building a laser team that is knowledgeable, flexible, and dependable.

 Requirements

  • Knowledge of Bodor and XT laser machines
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid works

 Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience working as a CAD technician
  • Design background
