Position: Sales Lead

Marketpower is looking for two experienced sales professionals to join the team as a Sales Lead. The  ideal candidates will have Account Management experience, with a proven ability to build positive long lasting relationships with their client base as well as the drive and ambition to be an expert in the field of print.

Amongst the 12 companies, their valued clients find every printing technology and printing possibility ranging from off-set print and packaging, digital print, flexo and gravure flexible packaging, corrugation, polystyrene, large format, POS solutions, branding, branded promotional gifts, apparel, labels and press supplies.

One of the companies under Plexus is Marketpower, who
is the largest prepress service provider in East Africa and the Kenyan market leader in digital Print-On-Demand.

In addition, they have expanded their digital print base into Large Format Printing for outdoor, indoor, POS and branding applications. Their customer base ranges from private persons, SOHO (small office, home office), SME (small and medium enterprises) and Government and large enterprises.


Does this sound like you?
  • You have proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or another relevant role
  • Print Industry experience is required
  • You have demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-suite level
  • You have experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • You have a proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • You have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities
  • Use your industry knowledge to source and secure new business, while managing your own customer base always giving exceptional service to build long-lasting relationships
  • Process orders, seeing customer’s print projects through from start to finish
  • Advise and upsell on additional print services that may be beneficial to customers
  • Ensure you have met personal sales targets each month
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements with the aim of maximising profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors 
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Marketpower’s solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
