Job description

Job Purpose:

The Head of Finance will be responsible for creating forecasting models, assessing risk in the company and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations. This role ensures crafting of financial strategies and maintaining company’s financial health to increase profitability in the long run.

Key Job Functions:

  • Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
  • Approve or reject budgets
  • Conduct risk management
  • Evaluate and decide on investments
  • Allocate resources and manage cash flows
  • Conduct profit and cost analyses
  • Strategic Leadership: To develop and implement customer support strategies for the advancement of the call centre operations
  • Support pricing, procurement, payments
  • Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
  • Consult Group finance about funding options and recommend cost-reducing solutions


INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS  

Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Head of Finance

Education:

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus

Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills
  • Leadership abilities

Skills:

  • Leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, performance management, coaching and mentoring skills. Problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
