About Udhyam Shiksha
The Udhyam Shiksha program aims to enable our youth to become entrepreneurial to help them achieve their true potential. Udhyam was founded by Mekin Maheshwari who was an early team member at Flipkart- the first Head of Engineering and later was Head HR before starting Udhyam. Since its inception in 2017, Udhyam has implemented the Shiksha Program working with high schools, Pre-University and Degree college students across the states of Karnataka, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh & Assam. Udhyam has also partnered with Industrial Training departments for ITI students of the Government of Haryana, Govt of Kerala and Govt of Maharashtra.
Udhyam Shiksha is in a cusp phase - on one side trying to maximize the tremendous Impact opportunity Udhyam currently has in the 8-10 states of presence with the existing model, and identifying more efficient ways of scaling Udhyam's impact that will take the organization through the next wave of growth across the country.

About the Role | Leader - Udhyam Shiksha
The Leader - Udhyam Shiksha would be leading a large effort to imagine, design and execute reforms and innovative products to enable growth in Agency for youth.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and growing Udhyam's work with state governments (currently in 9 states), co-creating and implementing curricula with high quality and rigor.
- Growing, Mentoring and Leading a team of 50-75 individuals, where each individual grows to be a leader and creates massive impact at Udhyam and beyond.
- Building thought leadership steeped in the deep work Udhyam does leading to wider change and more partners for this change.
- Enabling creation, growth and scaling up of newer methods of learning including digital products that enable youth to grow their agency.
- Managing financials, budgets and fundraising for Udhyam's ambitious projects.

Critical requirements for the role (Must- Haves)
- Leadership experience in managing complex large teams.
- Understanding of the social sector.
- Corporate experience of building teams and products.
- Experience managing complex projects and initiatives (Preferably seen scale and product exposure in e-learning, edTech, education/skill -leadership development/coaching/social impact related industries).
- Experience managing team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Complex stakeholder management skills (working with governments, private, public players).
Preferred requirements for the role (Nice to Haves)
- Revenue generation & fund raising skills/experience.
- Experience in policy development and analysis.
- Technical product building experience.
