Job description

Clean Tech Hub (CTH) is seeking a Junior Associate, Content Creation Climate Change & Environment who will be a part of the Environment and Climate Change Department and will assist in establishing Clean Tech Hub’s position on environment and climate generally, and around WASH campaign issues.


Responsibilities

  • Create dynamic content (text, image, and videos) to promote meaningful discussions on Climate Change
  • Conduct research and content development on global environmental and climate change issues.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and members of the public requesting feedback on certain matters of interest on behalf of the organization
  • Assist in developing and implementing CTH projects for Environment and Climate Change practice
  • Assist in project initiation, project management and project delivery to Environment and Climate Change department.
  • Keep abreast of current trends in environment and climate-smart technologies, events and programs within Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
  • Support the team on process flow with content creation to ease the operations of the organization
  • Assist in organizing workshops, meetings and events with relevant sectoral and Industry Stakeholders.


Skills/Knowledge

  • Must be committed and passionate about CTH’s goal, objectives and mission
  • At least 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • A strategic mind that is focused on execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Economics, Public Policy, Graphic Design, Filmmaking or other related fields
  • Basic Research skills
  • Basic data analysis skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • A creative and dynamic thinker
  • Substantial knowledge of national and international proposal development concept
  • Familiarity with ongoing debates and initiatives in the field of climate change, environmental sustainability and international development.
  • Experience with conferencing software such as Zoom and Google Meet
  • Experience in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype, Zoom, etc.).
